Arron and Dria, the married coaching team behind Drill With A&D

Think about a problem that keeps popping up in your personal life or career. Got one?

Guess what? You already know how to solve it. You know what to do. You don't need another book, podcast, or degree.

You need to change the automatic thought process that's stopping you from doing what you know.

That problem that keeps coming back? That's a recurring fire.

Can't think of one?

Here's what it looks like at your level.

You know you should turn it off when you clock out. You still feel like you can't relax, even at the beach.

You know exactly what to charge. Then you feel like you need to offer a discount before you lose the sale.

You know you shouldn't snap at the people you love. You still feel out of control in the heat of the moment.

You know who needs to be let go. You've known for six months. But they've got a family to feed, so you "feel bad."

You know you're winning. You still feel like you're one bad month away from losing it all.

Notice something?

It seems like how you feel is what stands in the way of what you know.

But the feeling isn't the problem. The automatic thought process that fires after the feeling is the real problem. Fix that, fix everything.

Up until now, you've been treating the feeling like the enemy. So you stuffed it down with outdated motivational quotes, toxic positive affirmations, and advice from a numb billionaire who said, "There's no emotion in business."

That advice got you here, but at what cost?

Here's the cost

It's costing you twice.

First at work, then again at home.

Money

You know the moves you need to make to reach the next level. But when fear, doubt, guilt, or the need to be liked shows up, an old thought process takes over, and it keeps costing you.

  • The rate you didn't charge because you didn't want them to think you were greedy.
  • The decision you sat on for three weeks while someone faster took the deal.
  • The client you keep saying yes to even though they cost you more than they pay you.

Peace

The same thought process follows you home. You know what you need to do: rest, put the phone down at dinner, be present with your family, and enjoy what you built. But when things finally get quiet, your head goes right back to work.

  • Your partner stopped asking how your day was, because they can already tell.
  • You hit the number you chased for years and felt nothing, so you started chasing the next one.
  • You haven't slept through the night in months without replaying the day in your head.

Put a number on your recurring fires.

Fear, self-doubt, overthinking, and hesitation feel free. They're not. Plug in your numbers and see what they cost you.

What your destructive thought processes cost you per year $180,000 Over 10 years, if nothing changes: $1,800,000

That number is where we start.

Why nothing has fixed it

What you've already tried on it.

"Go to therapy."They talk about your problems for months. We put out your first fire in 7 days.
"Say your affirmations."Affirmations are you lying to yourself in a mirror.
"Think positive."Positive thinking falls apart the second pressure hits.
"Journal it out."Homework doesn't hold under pressure. Reps do.
"Manifest it."The universe does not do your reps for you.
"Hire a coach to hold you accountable."Your coach can't stand in the kitchen with you or make the call for you.
"Grind harder."Working more hours won't change how you react under pressure.

"There's no emotion in business."

That belief got you here.

Pushing feelings down got you through the hard years. But when you shut off fear, you shut off joy too. So you hit your goals and feel nothing.

The goal isn't to feel like a robot.

What good is success and money if you can't even enjoy it? When you dreamed of reaching this level, is this what you thought it would feel like?

So what actually works when it counts?

You don't rise to the occasion. You fall to the level of your training.

Mental performance, not therapy.

Therapy looks back at why you are the way you are. Mental performance trains what you do next. It's the field Dr. Eric Potterat used as lead psychologist for the Navy SEALs, applied to your deals, decisions, and home.

Training, not more information.

Your old thought processes were rehearsed thousands of times. Knowing better won't beat that, which is why someone with an Ivy League MBA still freezes on the price. Only rehearsing a better thought process can replace it.

Days, not months.

Therapy and coaching measure progress in months. We give you 7 days on one fire. If it's not noticeably easier to do what you know when it counts, you don't pay.

Minutes, not homework.

About 6 minutes, three times a day, in the car, the shower, or between meetings. No journaling and no homework. Our app tracks every rep, so we both know it's working.

Why we call it a drill

Remember fire drills in school?

In school

When the fire alarm goes off in school, we don't hand kids an SOP on how to reach safety. They rehearse exactly where to go, again and again. So when a real alarm sounds and panic kicks in, nobody stops to think. They just walk out the door they practiced.

In the Navy

The military runs more drills than anyone. On the USS Porter, Arron ran fire, flooding, and battle drills until the response was automatic. Then one night off Somalia, a hijacked tanker sent a distress call, and it was not a drill. Arron manned a 25mm gun and helped sink the pirate skiffs. Nobody froze. They did what they drilled.

In your life

Schools, fire departments, and the military all use drills for the same reason: it's how you train a nervous system to act under pressure. But nobody has ever told you to run mental drills: to rehearse exactly how you'll think before the hard moment hits. Instead, you got feel-good quotes, posters, and advice.

Where a drill is different

We don't argue with the feeling. We retrain what your brain does while it's happening.

✖ Affirmations & positive self-talk

Feelinge.g., self-doubt
"I am enough just as I am. I believe in my unique gifts and talents.""I am confident in myself and my abilities. I let go of limiting beliefs and choose to trust myself."Your brain doesn't talk to itself like this.
Brain files it as false

Affirmations and positive self-talk treat the feeling like the enemy. So they stuff it down with forced positivity: soft, poetic lines that ignore what you're actually feeling right now. Verdict: too slow. It takes endless repetition to move the needle.

Every time you run your 6-minute drill, you rehearse the exact moment that used to control your thoughts and reactions. But this time, you hear exactly how you'd want to think it through: a healthy thought process that gives you permission to take the next step. Later, when that situation comes up in real life, you'll think exactly how you want to think and do exactly what you know to do.

The goal: intrusive positive thoughts. The kind that show up uninvited, right when you need them.

You have to hear a drill to truly understand it. That's what the call is for.

What we do with your fire

The Mental Fire Drill™ Method: how we close the Knowing-Doing Gap

The 7-Day Promise

Give us 7 days on one fire. If you don't find it noticeably easier to do what you know when it counts, you don't pay.

First, we pin down the exact moments your drill is built for, then write and record it. Your 7 days start the day your first drill is in your hands. On day 7, you decide whether it's working. If it is, we move on to your next fire. If it isn't, you owe nothing.

1

Map the fires

On a free call, we map the recurring moments costing you money and peace, and the destructive thought processes behind each one. Everyone falls into different patterns, so we find yours, then pick the fire doing the most damage.

2

Write and record the drills

We run a linguistic profile to learn how you actually talk to yourself, then write the replacement thought processes in your own tone and record them as self-talk audio drills. It sounds like a realistic replica of your own inner voice.

3

Run it until it's automatic

About 6 minutes, 3 times in a row, 3 times a day. On the commute, in the shower, between meetings. Our app tracks every listen, so we see every rep, and we get on a call with you once every two weeks. You run it until the right response kicks in automatically at the exact moment it used to fail you.

There's no homework and no journaling. No meditating or breathing exercises. Just you and the audio drills.

We're Arron and Dria.

We're married, we're business partners, and we're mental performance coaches. We built a 7-figure business helping people dissolve fear and anxiety, and we run these drills on ourselves every day, in the business and in the marriage. That's why we coach both: what's in your head when you close the deal, and what you carry home afterward.

It's also why couples who run a company together find us. We know what happens when the business and the marriage share a kitchen table.

Arron

Arron is a U.S. Navy veteran who served on the guided-missile destroyer USS Porter, including the night it answered a pirate hijacking off Somalia. Since 2011, he's spent 15+ years and hundreds of books and courses studying psychology, specializing in self-talk. That's who builds your drills.

Dria

In 2011, Dria spent a year battling a severe anxiety disorder while they built their business. Doctors couldn't help her. The medication made it worse. So Arron dropped everything to study psychology. A year of trial and error later, they found the breakthrough: self-talk. Within three weeks, Dria was free from anxiety. Every drill they write traces back to her.

You've had that fire for years. Give us 7 days on it.

More effort won't put it out. Changing the thought process behind it will.
